Blondie has revealed plans for a headlining performance at London’s Roundhouse. The performance will come in support of their forthcoming new release Pollinator, which is due out on May 5. In addition to the gig announcement, the band also released a new single off of their upcoming album, titled “My Monster.” The new single features guitarist Johnny Marr from The Smiths and follows their previously released single “Fun.” Remembering their last trip to the UK Debbie Harry joked about how the band broke into Stonehenge following a performance at Glastonbury: “I don’t think that I was one of the fence-climbers,” said Harry, “but I think the boys (the band) had to touch. they wanted to really touch that big stone. I envy them that. We were allowed to go up the path, and I remember getting closer to the ring and feeling this magnetic force – you know, this sort of electrical feeling that came.” She adds: “Clearly I walked through this field of energy when I got up close to it, so I’ll never forget that”.
