Evanescence has released the track “Even In Death,” an early band demo that appeared on their previously unreleased demo album Origin. The new track and album are being released as part of a new box set, The Ultimate Collection. In addition to Origin, The Ultimate Collection also features the bands albums Fallen, The Open Door, Evanescence and The Lost Whispers, which culls bonus tracks and features the studio version of tour intro “Lost Whispers.” The box set includes a 52-page casebound book featuring art, handwritten lyrics, photos and rarities. Publicists for singer Amy Lee have confirmed that the band is working on new music. The band’s first new recordings since 2011 are expected to arrive sometime later this year, but details on a release date, title, or even the format in which the material will be issued remain unknown.
