Coachella and Stagecoach postponed due to coronavirus

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Coachella Music and Arts Festival and Stagecoach Music Festival have been postponed. Coachella and Stagecoach are the latest music events to be postponed due to the coronavirus.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Stagecoach Music Festival are being pushed back six months to October due to concern over the spread of coronavirus.
Coachella and Stagecoach join other huge music festivals to be reshuffled due to the coronavirus outbreak, like South by Southwest and Ultra Festival. Major acts, Pearl Jam and Madonna, have postponed or canceled personal tours due to the coronavirus outbreak as well.
Goldenvoice confirmed Coachella being postponed in a Twitter post saying they take the safety and health of festival-goers very seriously.

Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean were set to headline Coachella. It’s unclear which headliners or acts will still perform in October. Organizers did not say whether the previously scheduled acts would be able to perform in October.
Organizers said all tickets purchased for the April dates will be honored for the new dates. Refund information will also be available by Friday, March 13.
Coachella was originally slated for two consecutive weekends next month — April 10th, 11th, and 12th, followed by April 17th, 18th, and 19th — at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Stagecoach was set for the weekend after, April 24th to 26th.
