Lady Antebellum have released a new lyric video for "I Did It With You," a cut from the soundtrack of the Nicholas Sparks film The Best Of Me. The video features clips from the film with the song lyrics laid over top of them.
It's not every day you get surprised by Tony Bennett, but that's exactly what happened to Lady Gaga during her recent concert in Tel Aviv, Israel on her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour. Gaga took advantage of the opportunity and performed alongside Bennett on the track "I Can't Give You Anything But Love," which will appear on their new duet album Cheek to Cheek.
Miley Cyrus has released a cover of the Led Zeppelin classic, "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You," posting the tune to her official SoundCloud page. "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You," a folk song by Anne Bredon, was eventually arranged by Zep guitarist Jimmy Page for the band's 1969 debut album.
Keith Urban is featured in a new promotional ad from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. The promo, titled "Music. Made in Tennessee," features a clip of Urban - along with rocker Jack White - walking out onto the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. "It's a feeling. A spirit. Found in every string played. Every road traveled and memory made. It's the beauty," he said.
When David Letterman was told by his producers that he could not have his CBS Orchestra play songs by the Eagles, the Late Show host decided to tease the band about their strict policy against having their songs played on TV. Letterman asks his band leader Paul Schaeffer to "pick a song" of the band's to play, but was interrupted by his producer who said that it was a bad idea.
A new biopic, titled Love and Mercy, explores the relationship between Beach Boys members Mike Love and Brian Wilson. The film focuses on the dynamics between the two bandmates as they wrestle over the Boys' direction and deal with personal struggles, including Wilson's battle with mental illness and substance abuse.
