    A Houston-based radio station has begun playing Beyoncé nonstop following a format change that saw the station lay off nearly 50 employees. The station officially closed the doors of its news talk format due to "sustained poor ratings performance and significant financial losses over the past three years." They were forced to lay off 47 employees as a result of the move.
