Chris Martin Says Coldplay Doesn't Care About 'Being Cool'

As if Coldplay couldn't get any cooler, they have, after frontman Chris Martin noted that the band does not care about being cool.

"When the lights go down, that's 30,000 peoples lives colliding," Martin says in the band new Live 2012 DVD. "Everyone there working is working for that moment, everyone watching is watching for that moment. It's when you're all in agreement about what you're all doing so it's a wonderful feeling of togetherness and possibility."

Martin continues, "Whilst it might not be perceived to be really enthused when people show up to hear your music but we don't give a f**k, we really love that. It's exciting when you're 15 and you throw a house party and people come so imagine that on a daily basis with 20,000 people."

Coldplay's Live 2012 will be released November 19.
