Train Release 'Bruises' Video Featuring Ashley Monroe

Train has debuted the music video for "Bruises," a collab with Ashley Monroe of the Miranda Lambert-headed trio, the Pistol Annies.

In the video, Monroe plays a single mother, who, having been abandoned by her husband writes letters back and forth with her old pal, played by Train's Pat Monahan.

"The song is about two friends catching up about 10 years after graduating from high school. Both of them are divorced, and they've been battered and bruised a few times over the years. But despite the pain, they recognize that their scars make them more interesting people," says Taste of Country of the new track.

"Bruises" is the third single from the band's latest album, California 37. Train is nominated for a 2012 American Music Award in the Adult Contemporary category. Catch that show on November 18.
