Whitney Houston Among 2013 Grammy Hall Of Fame Inductees

According to the Recording Academy, singer Whitney Houston will be among the singers honored at the 2013 Grammy Hall of Fame celebration. Houston's 1985 self-titled, debut album was also named an inductee. Houston passed away in February of this year at the age of 48.

In order to qualify for this honor, the person must be at least 25-years-old and "exhibit qualitative or historical significance."

Other notable projects to be recognized at the celebration include AC/DC's Back in Black album, as well as Paul McCartney & Wings' Band on the Run album from 1973. Elton John's 1970 album Elton John will also be inducted in, along with Billy Joel's song "Piano Man" and Little Richard's Little Richard album from 1957.
