Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan are among the country stars to be named CMT's 2012 Artists of the Year.

Underwood and Bryan are joined by fellow country stars Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Toby Keith and Miranda Lambert, as those to receive the honor.

The names were unveiled on Saturday night (December 8), during a CMT special. Each of the nominees performed during the program in unique ways.

Bryan teamed up with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder for a mash up of the former's "Drunk on You" with the latter's "Feel Again." Underwood was joined by Lambert, who sang along to her song "Two Black Cadillacs," a performance which garnered a standing ovation from the crowd.

The 90-minute event was invitation-only and included celebs from the music, TV and sports worlds.
