Donna Summer To Enter Rock Hall Of Fame

Singer/songwriter Donna Summer will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2013.

Summer had several number one hits including "Hot Stuff," "Bad Girls" and "No More Tears." Summer unfortunately lost her battle with lung cancer earlier this year at the age of 63.

Other musicians/bands that will be going in to the Hall of Fame include legendary Canadian rock band Rush, Public Enemy, Heart, Randy Newman and Albert King. Producers Quincy Jones and Lou Adler are also be awarded with the Ahmet Ertegun award.

Kraftwerk and Deep Purple were among the bands on the shortlist that did not make the cut.
