McGraw And Chesney Are Top Grossing Country Tour Of 2012

Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw's Brothers of the Sun tour was the highest-ranking country tour of 2012, according to Billboard. The two country stars raked in $96,458,890, playing 23 shows to more than one million fans.

"This year's tour was very unique, and every stadium, city, and crowd had its own energy that was special," Kenny told Billboard. "It was inspiring, really, to see how much music means to people, and how much their favorite songs mean to them. It's why I love what I do. This years tour was all that. And more."

Overall, the tour came in at number seven on the final list of top grossing tours of 2012.

Other country stars to make the list: Jason Aldean, whose My Kinda Party tour landed in the 13th overall spot and made $39,956,703, selling out 59 shows; Lady Antebellum's Own the Night Tour, which came in at number 14 with $38,358,801 made and 72 sellouts; and Brad Paisley's Virtual Reality tour, which finished at number 15 with $33,790,267.
