Stevie Wonder And Gilberto Gil Play Free Concert In Rio

Stevie Wonder and Gilberto Gil hosted a free concert at Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for Christmas. Wonder, ever the gentleman, spoke to the crowd in Portuguese before regaling them with his smooth jams:

"Tudo bem? (Everything alright?)," he asked before taking his seat at the piano.

Wonder performed several of his hits including "I Just Called to Say I Love You" and "You Are the Sunshine of My Life." He also covered Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" and "What a Wonderful World." Gil opened the set with favorites like "Realce" and "A Novidade."

According to local reports, a crowd of 450,000 gathered to check out the free concert. Local temperatures were not obliging, rising to upwards of 100 degrees during the event.
