Madonna And Marlon Brando Estate Settle Lawsuit Over 'Vogue'

The estate of Marlon Brando, which sued Madonna for her use of the late Hollywood icon's image while performing her hit "Vogue" in concert, has come to a settlement with the Material Girl.

Madonna had come to an agreement with CMG Worldwide, a rights management firm, over the use of several other images, including James Dean, Jean Harlow and Ginger Rogers. The agreement required that Madge pay $5,000 to each of their estates.

She claims to have reached a similar agreement with Brando's estate, but says the late star's reps increased the payout to $20,000.

When the image was used without payment, the Brando estate sought $100,000 for each nonwillful use and $1 million for each willful use.

The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
