Lady Antebellum Releases 'Downtown' As First Single Off Fourth Album

Lady Antebellum have returned to radio airwaves with their latest single "Downtown," the first single taken off their upcoming album.

"There's some sass to this track that makes it really fun to sing," frontwoman Hillary Scott told CMT. "It's definitely a 'roll down the windows and bob your head' kind of thing."

"We thought it was a fun way to launch the next record and a fitting preview of what's to come."

The band has yet to announce a release date for their new record, which will serve as the follow-up to 2012's On a Winter's Night, their fourth LP and first full Christmas album. It was certified Gold in the US and Platinum in Canada. Lady A's last full album of originals was 2011's Own the Night.
