Beyoncé Wins Early Grammy Award For Best Traditional R&B Performance

Beyoncé was nominated for one award at the 2013 Grammy awards, the Best Traditional R&B Performance ("Love on Top"), an award she ended up taking home.

She bested Anita Baker's "Lately," Melanie Fiona's "Wrong Side of a Love Song," Gregory Porter's "Real Good Hands" and SWV's "If Only You Knew." It is the 17th Grammy Award Lady Bey has won, both as a solo artist and with Destiny's Child.

Bey's U.S. tour dates kick off on June 28 at Los Angeles, California's Staples Center and wrap at Brooklyn, New York's Barclays Center on August 3. Major cities are the focus of the tour including Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia.

Before the U.S. leg, however, there is a 20-date European leg, beginning in Belgrade, Serbia on April 15. Lady Bey is currently planning dates in Latin America, Australia and Asia as well.

One South American date already confirmed is an appearance at the world's largest music festival, Rock in Rio, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on September 13.
