Carrie Underwood And Kelly Clarkson Top American Idol 100 Hits List

Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson have topped Billboard's American Idol 100 Hits List.

The country singer and pop starlet both dominated the magazine survey, which lists the top 100 hit singles generated from the television talent competition's first eleven seasons.

Underwood's "Before He Cheats" came in at number nine, making it the highest listed among the 31 country tunes that appear on the list. In all Underwood charted 20 tunes, making her the artist with the most songs on the countdown.

Clarkson claimed 18 different song spots, including her hit "Since U Been Gone," which landed in the top spot on the list.

Underwood won the fourth season of American Idol in 2005, while Clarkson was the first ever winner of the show in 2002.
