Aerosmith's Tyler And Perry Perform At Sex Abuse Benefit

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith performed at the John Varvatos 10th Annual Stuart House Benefit, a special evening dedicated to raising money for the Santa Monica rape treatment center.

"It's about John's passion for children and this endeavor he's doing," Tyler told Rolling Stone at the event on Sunday. "It's about the swept-under-the-rug thing with kids where they're so young, they don't know what's going on, they've been abused sexually and they think it's their fault, which is a travesty beyond travesties."

Tyler and Perry performed a number of Aerosmith classics, and even had former Guns n' Roses guitarist Slash join them on stage for "Mama Kin."

Other stars in attendance for the benefit included Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Billy Idol, Billy Zane, Jeremy Piven, Tori Spelling and Alice Cooper.
