Elton John Joins Fall Out Boy In The Studio

Elton John has reportedly added a popular name to his ever-growing list of collaborators-Fall Out Boy. The classic rock icon joined the punk-pop stars in an Atlanta, Georgia studio for a guest appearance on their forthcoming reunion album Save Rock and Roll.

The album was previously slated for release in May and has since been bumped forward to April 16. It marks their first release since 2008's Folie a Deux and the lead single "My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up)" has already notched 388,000 downloads.

"When we were kids, the only thing that got us through most days was music," the band said in a statement when the new album was announced.

"It's why we started Fall Out Boy in the first place. This isn't a reunion because we never broke up. We needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us."
