Mariah Carey Hospitalized After Dislocating Shoulder During Video Shoot

Mariah Carey was taken to a hospital in New York City on Sunday, July 7 after dislocating her shoulder during a music video shoot.

The injury occurred while Carey was shooting her new music video, which is a remix to her latest single "#Beautiful."

According to the The New York Post, Carey was transported from the shoot, which occurred at Avenue and Artichoke Pizza in Chelsea, and she is now recovering quickly from the injury.

"She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder," Carey's rep Cindi Berger said. "She is fine and is recovering at home." Berger did not clarify how the injury happened.

Carey has not canceled her performance scheduled for July 13. It will be a free concert in Central Park's Great Lawn.
