New Michael Jackson Track 'Blue Gangsta' Unveiled

"Blue Gangsta" is the latest cut to be previewed from the upcoming posthumous Michael Jackson record XSCAPE. The song was recorded in 1998 and features updated production from Timbaland.

"What you gonna do? / You ain't a friend of mine / Look what you've put me through / Now that I'm the blue gangsta," sings the King of Pop.

According to MTV, which is streaming the cut, the cut was "put together based on full vocal takes recorded by the late singer between 1983 and 1999."

The LP, produced by Timbaland, features eight previously unreleased cuts compiled by executive producer L.A. Reid, who was granted exclusive access to Jackson's vault for the release. In addition to Timbaland, Reid recruited Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome "Jroc" Harmon and John McClain to assist with production on the record.

XSCAPE hits May 13.
