Steve Perry Performs Journey's 'Lights' At Eels Concert

Steve Perry once again appeared on stage with the Eels - this time at the Orpheum Theatre in L.A. It is the third time in a month that the former Journey singer has joined the band for a live performance.

At the L.A. show Perry performed the Journey cut "Lights," dishing on the cut's origins beforehand:

"It started out here - sort-of finished it. Then I got a call to join this band in Northern California called Journey. And we finished it there, [and] changed L.A. to the Bay."

Previous Perry and Eels collabs came in St. Paul, MN, and Washington, D.C. Songs the pair have collaborated on include Eels' "It's a Motherf*cker," along with Journey's "Open Arms" and "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'" plus a cover of Sam Cooke's "Only Sixteen."
