Eric Clapton has offered up a new track in tribute to prog rock legend John Wetton. The track, titled “For John W,” comes shortly after the King Crimson and Asia rocker’s death from cancer at the age of 67. The track is currently available as a free stream. The news comes at a busy time for Clapton, who also recently confirmed a string of North American tour dates. He is set for shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 19 and 20 and will also hit The Forum in Los Angeles for a pair of shows on March 25 and 26. Despite the upcoming dates, Slowhand also recently admitted he’s considering retiring from the road. He stated in a press release: “I know I’ve been threatening retirement for the last 50 years, but I didn’t think I’d ever really want to stop.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
