Mariah Carey has released her new single “I Don’t” featuring YG. She previously teased the track on her reality series and revealed that is it was inspired by her split from Australian billionaire James Packer. “When you love someone,” she sings, repurposing Donell Jones’ “Where I Wanna Be,” “You just don’t treat them bad / You messed up all we had / Now, you think I’m comin’ back / But I don’t.” Speaking about the track on her show she said: “Ever since the tour wrapped I took some time just to process my feelings and I started writing a song to express what I’ve been going through,” she explained. “And if you’re not getting the love that you need from someone that you’re supposed to be in a real relationship with, then why remain in that situation?” A video for the track featuring Carey and YG has reportedly also been shot.
