Katy Perry has been confirmed as the newest addition to the Grammy performer lineup. Her label Capitol Records broke the news of her addition to the awards show lineup on their official Twitter handle. “?? JUST ANNOUNCED ??@katyperry will perform at the #GRAMMYs on February 12th!” the label wrote in their announcement. The Grammy performance comes at a busy time for Perry, who also recently released a new line of shoes. Her new designs were featured in Footwear News. Perry first announced that she would be introducing the new line of footwear in the early summer of 2016. Now, nearly half year later Perry is making splash in the pop music world and a giant step into the fashion realm. Perry described her new line to Footwear News as “vibrant, expressive and defining.” Perry has been known for her flamboyant style and is now marketing this look in fun and fashionable new way.
