The previously announced tour by Prince’s former backing band the Revolution has now added more dates. Their reunion tour will now officially kick off at an event at the Purple One’s former home Paisley Park, on April 21st and it will wrap in Seattle, Washington on July 15th. The band appeared with Prince during his Purple Rain era and reunited last year for a tribute show after the legend’s death. Keyboardist Lisa Coleman spoke with rollingstone.com about the experience of playing the music without Prince at the tribute and said: “It was really intense,” said Coleman. “Difficult. The music was mercurial. Like, we couldn’t quite grab it. I mean, we were trained to look at Prince for cues, and even if he’s wrong, he’s right. We were looking into a space and then looking at each other going, ‘What is this?'” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
