Taylor Swift has been granted an order of protection against a man who has allegedly been stalking her since December of 2016. Page Six reports that 29-year-old Mohammed Jaffar has been attempting to gain access to Swift’s New York City apartment since December, when he allegedly showed up at Swift’s apartment building in Tribeca, requesting a face-to-face meeting with Swift. According to reports, Jaffar would return four more times before finally being arrested on March 6. Alleged incidents include a February 6 attempt to gain access to Swift by accessing her apartment building’s roof, where Jaffar stayed from 10AM until 2PM. Court papers also report that Jaffar returned to Swift’s building on two separate dates to ring her buzzer for up to an hour straight in an attempt to draw her out. In addition, he also called Swift’s management company 59 times between January 27 and February 16. Jaffar was arrested on stalking and burglary charges and is being held on a $20,000 bond.
