John Mayer has opened up about his new track “Still Feel Like Your Man” and says it was inspired by Katy Perry. Mayer discussed the inspiration behind the new tune in a profile piece from the New York Times and says that if you follow his well-documented love life it’s pretty obvious that Perry was the subject of the song. “Who else would I be thinking about?” he said, referring to Perry. “And by the way, it’s a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it’s like, give me this, people.” On the track he sings: “I still keep your shampoo in my shower/in case you wanna wash your hair.
