Katy Perry has signed on to appear at the upcoming Wango Tango concert. The event is set to take place at StubHub Center in Carson, California, on May 13. Maroon 5 and One Direction’s Niall Horan have also signed on for headlining performances. Perry was also recently honored with the National Award for Equality at an upcoming event. The award was presented by the Human Rights Campaign and was given at their Los Angeles Gala event on March 18. Perry joined America Ferrara as a recipient this year. “We are thrilled to honor Katy Perry for using her powerful voice and international platform to speak out for LGBTQ equality,” HRC President Chad Griffin says in a statement. “Her compelling advocacy, from the stage to the campaign trail, has had a profound effect on the lives of LGBTQ people – and, in particular, young people. Katy’s message of inclusion and equality continues to inspire us and the world.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
