Carrie Underwood has reportedly inked a new deal with Universal’s Capitol Records Nashville. Underwood and reps from the label broke news of the new deal in various official statements, and all sides say they’re thrilled. “As a talented writer, recording artist, performer and actor, Carrie is that exceptionally rare artist who can do it all,” says Sir Lucian Grainge, chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group.
