Pat Benatar has signed on for the 4th annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure show, along with Neil Giraldo. The show is set to take place at the Fillmore in San Francisco on May 15. The annual event was founded by Sammy Hagar and Metallica’s James Hetfield. Proceeds from the benefit show will go to the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. When announcing the initial year of the show the pair released a statement on the event noting: “Each legendary artist will be performing acoustic sets – with once-in-a-lifetime musical moments, duets, jams and surprise guests planned.” Dave Grohl is also slated as one of the headlining performers.
