E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt has announced plans for a solo tour later this year. The run comes in support of his new release Soulfire and will once again find the rocker backed by his longtime backing band the Disciples of Soul. Speaking on the release with rollingstone.com, he noted: “I was thinking, ‘Who do I want to be?’?” he said. “I’m like, ‘Who am I really?’ And the thing most identified with me, and the thing that is most unique, is that soul-meets-rock thing.
