Country music power couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have voiced their support for making some “common sense” changes to gun control in the United States. “Look, I’m a bird hunter – I love to wing-shoot,” McGraw revealed in an interview with Billboard. “However, there is some common sense that’s necessary when it comes to gun control. They want to make it about the Second Amendment every time it’s brought up. It’s not about the Second Amendment.” “In reference to the tragedy in Las Vegas, we knew a lot of people there,” Hill adds. “The doctors that [treated] the wounded, they saw wounds like you’d see in war. That’s not right. Military weapons should not be in the hands of civilians. It’s everyone’s responsibility, including the government and the National Rifle Association, to tell the truth. We all want a safe country.” The couple also made headlines earlier this week, when they added new dates to their upcoming Soul2Soul tour. The run kicks off on May 31 in Richmond, Virginia and will now continue through July 22 in Sacramento, California. The run comes in support of their new release The Rest of Our Lives, which is out later this month. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, 2018 Soul2Soul Tour Dates: May 31 — Richmond, Va.
