Bob Seger has confirmed that he plans to re-launch his tour in the spring. The rock legend postponed much of his previously scheduled tour through the end of this year and early next due to unexpected surgery earlier this month. The run was to come in support of his new release I Knew You When but was shelved when he underwent emergency surgery on vertebra in his neck. In a new statement earlier this week, he said his recovery is coming along well and that all the dates he missed will be picked up in the spring. After announcing the postponement his reps confirmed that the surgery went great: “Bob is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery on Friday to address the medical issue causing the postponement of his tour. According to his doctors surgery ‘couldn’t have gone better.’ Bob wants to thank all his fans for the outpouring of well wishes and support.
