Carrie Underwood is at home and recovering after undergoing surgery to repair a broken wrist. She suffered the injury in a fall outside her home in Nashville earlier this week. “I just wanted let everyone know that I’m doing great,” she tweeted. “Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well.even though I’ll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on.I’m so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family & friends who’ve been taking such great care of me.” “Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes,” her rep told People in a statement. Underwood suffered the broken wrist along with some cuts and abrasions.
