KSFI FM100.3 Flips The Switch to All Christmas Music

By bonneville on November 17, 2017

KSFI FM100.3 has flipped the switch with its annual holiday music programming. FM100.3 features all-Christmas music, 24-7, through Christmas day. Songs from iconic artists like Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, and Burl Ives are blended with contemporary stars including Mariah Carey, Michael Buble and Kelly Clarkson.

As “Utah’s Official Christmas Music Station,” it’s a longstanding tradition for FM100.3 and attracts over one million local listeners each holiday season. “There’s nothing like Christmas in Utah, and there’s nothing like Utah’s home for the holidays on FM100.3,” said KSFI Program Director Sue Kelley. “We are excited to give our listeners a great way to get into the holiday spirit with Sounds of the Season, from traditional classics to today’s greatest holiday hits.” Bonneville-SLC VP/Market Manager Tanya Vea added, “As one of the first stations in the United States that embraced playing an all Holiday Music format decades ago, we are proud to once again welcome the holiday season with this great tradition. Given the challenges of 2017, it seems like the right time for us to “Flip the Switch.”

For our listeners, Christmas music brings back many memories. For our business partners, we set the stage for their holiday marketing plans.” In addition to on-air, FM100.3 also streams the holiday favorites at FM100.com and on the station’s new smartphone app. Also, on the FM100.3 app and on FM100.com, listeners can stream Utah’s Better Music for a Better Workday, a mix of music including artists like Pink, Taylor Swift, One Republic, Adele, Journey, Maroon 5, and Ed Sheeran. After Santa puts his sleigh in storage, FM100.3 will return to its very popular regular music format on Dec. 26th.
