Entrepreneur Dana Hollister has been ordered to pay a sum of $5 million to Katy Perry and the archdiocese of Los Angeles for interfering with her purchase of hilltop property that was once a convent. Hollister attempted to purchase the property directly from two nuns who had lived there even after Perry’s bid for the property was approved by the Los Angeles’ archbishop. A judge voided that sale earlier this year. A jury found that Hollister should pay the archdiocese $3.47 million and Perry $1.57 million for interference with contractual relations and other misdeeds. The jury found that her actions led to Perry and the archdiocese having to pay exorbitant lawyer fees and other costs, which Hollister should get the bill for. Perry and the archdiocese are still working out the terms of the sale. Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
