The home Bruce Springsteen grew up in is set to hit the real estate market. The home, located at 39 Institute St. in Asbury Park, New Jersey is featured on the cover of Springsteen’s legendary album Born to Run and the two-family residence is on the market for $270,000. The rock legend is also staying close to home these days as he is in residence on Broadway in New York. He is appearing at the Walter Kerr Theater through February and he opened up about the intimate shows in a recent interview: “There was a lot of storytelling, which goes back to our early days at the Bottom Line when you were in front of a couple of hundred people. It worked in a very, very intimate setting,” he said. Promoter Jordan Roth adds: “This isn’t a rock concert transported onto a small stage,” Roth said. “This is an experience of storytelling through word and through song, and that is what we do on Broadway. That is what the theater is.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
