Bruno Mars was the big winner at the 2017 Soul Train Awards last night. Mars took home five awards at the event, including Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, Video of the Year, Album/Mixtape of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Dance Performance. SZA also had a memorable evening, taking home awards for Best New Artist and Best R&B/Soul Female Artist. Cardi B also received the Rhythm & Bars Award for “Bodak Yellow.” The event took place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and was hosted by Erykah Badu. Toni Braxton was honored with the Don Cornelius Legend Award and female R&B trio SWV was honored with the Lady of Soul Award. Mars continues his recent dominance on the awards front.
