Mariah Carey has released a video for her latest holiday track “The Star,” the title track for the animated Nativity film. The new clip features shots of Carey, draped in a flowing, sparkling white gown, singing in front of a number of backdrops, including a moonlit sky and sunny desert, mixed with scenes from the film: the three wise men bearing gifts and Mary and Joseph sharing a look. In addition to Carey, The Star soundtrack also includes holiday numbers from several country singers (Kelsea Ballerini, Jake Owens, Jessie James Decker) and pop acts (Fifth Harmony, Zara Larsson). In addition, a number of musicians voice characters in the film itself: Kelly Clarkson, Kris Kristofferson and Carey. The Star opened in theaters nationwide on November 17.
