John Mayer appears to have taken some time during his recovery from a recent health scare to take in a few movies. Earlier this week, he offered his own theory that the Ben Affleck film The Accountant is actually a Batman origin story. “Now that we’ve settled it that Die Hard is a Christmas movie, I would like to posit that The Accountant is a Batman movie,” Mayer tweeted. “Here we go: it’s a Bruce Wayne origin story,” he added. “We see that he is both trained in fighting and accounting. His father was shot. His trailer/storage space is the first bat-cave. He is beginning to acquire great wealth. His brother will become his arch nemesis.” Mayer is recovering from an emergency appendectomy earlier this month, which lead to the cancellation of several Dead and Company shows.
