A new Carrie Unnderwood song was recently teased during the NFL playoff matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons. The new tune, titled “The Champion” will play in its entirety during the Super Bowl. The uplifting lyrics tells the story of a champion fighting their way to the top: “I’ve been waiting my whole life/ To see my name in lights.I am invincible, unbreakable, unstoppable, unshakable/ They knock me down.” she sings in the tease. She also spoke on the track, noting: “I think it’s going to become a sports anthem,” she said, as quoted by Variety. “It’s going to be one of those songs that you see cut to highlights for the next 25 years. My husband loved it. He would listen to it before playoff games. He was like ‘I want everyone to hear it!’ and I had to tell him, ‘You can’t do that. You can’t play it in the locker room.
