Sting and Shaggy have teamed up on a handful of tracks, which a press release describes as “island-influenced” and “Caribbean-flavored.” The press release continues that the studio sessions happened late last year and resulted in music that reflects both Sting and Shaggy’s “mutual love of Jamaica, its music, people and culture.” “We have a lot in common,” Sting told Page Six. “We’re both married to very strong women. We both come from small islands that used to belong to the queen. And we like each other. We like each other’s voices and music and vibe. We’re like kindred spirits.” The pair debuted the track “Don’t Make Me Wait” live at a charity concert in Jamaica, the Shaggy & Friends show that was held to benefit the Bustamante Hospital For Children in Kingston. The studio version of the track will be released on February 2. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
