Lady Gaga has canceled the remainder of her Joanne World Tour due to “severe pain,” a statement from Live Nation said. “She is extremely sorry and deeply saddened that she cannot perform for her European fans, who have waited so patiently. She is in the care of expert medical professionals who are working closely with her so she can continue to perform for her fans for years to come,” according to the statement. Gaga, diagnosed with fibromyalgia, struggled through a concert at Birmingham, England last Thursday. In a statement to her fans, Gaga said “I’m so devastated. I don’t know how to describe it. All I know is that if I don’t do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music. My medical team is supporting the decision for me to recover at home.” “I love this show more than anything, and I love you, but this is beyond my control,” she added. Gaga, who was to perform in London, Manchester, Zurich, Koln, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, and Berlin, as well as Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, said she will return to these cities later. Live Nation said ticket holders for those concerts will be able to receive refunds beginning Tuesday, February 6. Gaga had previously postponed the European leg of the Joanne World Tour last September after being hospitalized in Rio de Janeiro suffering from “severe physical pain.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
