NBC kicked off its Super Bowl LII coverage with the debut of the music video for Carrie Underwood’s new track “The Champion.” The visual featured a number of cameos from NFL greats, including Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott, Marcus Allen, Nick Foles and Tom Brady. The track was teased earlier this year at the NFL playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Los Angeles Rams. Underwood co-wrote the song with Brett James, Chris DeStefano and Ludacris, who also performs a verse on the song. “When we were writing “The Champion,” our main focus was to celebrate athletes at the top of their game, but we also wanted the song to resonate with people in their everyday lives,” Underwood revealed in a press release. “We hope the lyrics will inspire people to push themselves beyond their limits to conquer anything they are trying to accomplish or overcome. There’s a champion in every single one of us!” NBC is also planning to use the song during its upcoming coverage of the Winter Olympics. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
