A new selection of rare Prince memorabilia is headed to auction. The auction dubbed “Music Icons: Featuring Property From The Life and Career of Prince” will be held by Julien’s Auction House and will take place on May 19th at the Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square. Lots included in the sale are a 2002 Schecter “white cloud” electric guitar, a letter written to his first wife Mayte Garcia and various clothing and costume items donned throughout his career, like an 18 karat gold ring. The news comes at a busy time for the Purple One’s estate, as rep Troy Carter also recently revealed that they plan to release some previous unreleased music from his archive soon: “He was a guy who practically lived in a recording studio, and once we started going through [the unreleased material] we really started finding some gems,” said Carter. “I heard some music the other night that was pretty mind-blowing and we’re getting some stuff mixed right now. We’ve got great projects in the works that I’m excited to talk about. So the answer is yes, there will be unreleased Prince music coming soon.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
