The Dixie Chicks have confirmed plans to perform at a charity show in Austin later this year. The show comes in partnership with the Mack, Jack & McConaughey charity which was founded by actor Matthew McConaughey, recording artist Jack Ingram and ESPN analyst Mack Brown. The show will take place on April 12 as part of the Austin City Limits fest and will officially be dubbed the MJ&J Gala: “It’s always fun to play in Texas and supporting this incredible charity event which empowers kids and saves lives, is an opportunity we are inspired to be a part of,” Dixie Chicks frontwoman Natalie Maines said in a press release announcing the performance.
