Kings of Leon have signed on for a headlining performance at the upcoming Arroyo Seco weekend event. The festival is set to take place on June 23 & 24 in Pasadena, California. Tickets for the event will go on sale starting Friday, March 9. The event will also feature headlining performances by Jack White, Robert Plant and Neil Young. They will be joined by Pretenders, Gary Clark Jr., Belle & Sebastian, Alanis Morrissette, Violent Femmes, Aaron Neville, Los Lobos and many more. For the year’s second iteration the roster includes more rock acts, but organizers say that was purely coincidental: “I didn’t necessarily set out to say, ‘OK, you have to have a guitar to play the show,’ but the style of the show lends itself to the guitar,” says Paul Tollett, who books the festival as part of his role as president of Goldenvoice. The festival’s demographic is open to such amenities, says Nic Adler, festival director for Goldenvoice. “Today there’s an audience for almost every age demo in the festival market, and while we were a little apprehensive at first, we saw the excitement last year.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
