Glen Campbell’s widow is reportedly requesting $500k from the late singer’s estate. Kimberly Campbell alleges she is owed the funds as a reimbursement for expenses owed during her care for the country legend as he battled Alzheimer’s disease towards the end of his life. She is asking specifically for funds to cover what a court filing calls “caregiver expenses,” as well as expenses incurred during the administration of the star’s will and estate. Campbell’s family announced his passing last year at the age of 81, writing: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and legendary singer and guitarist, Glen Travis Campbell, at the age of 81, following his long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease,” the singer’s family said in a statement.
