A new four disc Glenn Frey box set entitled Above the Clouds: The Collection will be released in May. Above the Clouds: The Collection features a collection of Frey’s solo singles and songs from his 2012 After Hours release, as well as the digital debut of Longbranch/Pennywhistle and a DVD of a Frey show from September 15, 1992, during the tour in support of his Strange Weather release. “Above the Clouds compiles the key elements of Frey’s music both before and after the Eagles became international superstars, showcasing the broad range and wide influence of the Detroit-bred singer-songwriter in the process. The collection is a fitting way to honor a singer-songwriter whose imagination knew no bounds,” a press release for the album reads. Above the Clouds: The Collection will be released on May 11.
