Avril Lavigne is ready to make her comeback with a new album, which she describes as “really powerful.” The 33-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter confirmed to E! News some details on her forthcoming sixth studio album on the sidelines of the 25th annual Race To Erase MS Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday. It was her first red carpet appearance in two years. “I’ve been working on this for three years. I can actually say this time I’m going to be done with this album in two weeks, and I will put it out this year,” she said. Lavigne, who revealed in 2015 that she had been diagnosed with Lyme disease, hasn’t released a major studio record since her 2013 self-titled fifth album. The singer, known for hits like “Sk8er Boi” and “Complicated,” says she now feels much better. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
